Chief Sunday Awoniyi,has been called to glory. That is ordinary of human lives. The death of awoniyi is a great lost not only to the family,but to the entire nation. Yes! To the entire nation because he was a great patriot who dedicated himself to the service of humanity.
While he lived, awoniyi was a cool-headed unassuming person who gave everybody his due respect. A philanthropist, a man who stand for justice, fair play and equity.he was a lover of mankind. Awoniyi was complete gentleman,trustworthy and honest to the core. The family, indeed the nation has lost a very good man. The family,friends and well wishers he has left behind will fell the vacuum he has left.
But we all know that what Almighty God has destined we cannot change but we leave it to him to take care of his soul.His departrure no doubt will show the gap he must have left behind.
We pray to Almighty God to give the family,friends and well wishers the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable lost.

Ana iya cewa dai a yau jam’iyyun adawa sun zama ‘yan abi yarima asha kida. Mai makon su rika tsayawa da kafafun su, a’a si suka maida hankali wajen ganin sun azurta kawunansu da kuma shiga cikin gwamnatin maici suyi dumu-dumu a cikinta. Koda yake shigan ‘yan adawa cikin gwamnati mai mulki ba laifi bane, in hardai zasu kare mutuncin adawar da sukeyi da kuma gabatar da ayyukan raya kasa ga ita gwamnatin don ta aiwatar dasu.
Kodayake, adaw ba gaba bane. Adawa dai a dimokradiyyance na nufin bangare ne na jam’iyyun siyasa wanda basu ke mulki ba, amma masu akidar ganin anyi aikin gina kasa da kumka baiwa kowa hakkinsa a matsayinsa na dankasa yadda ya kamata.
Saidai wani abin ban mamaki shine, mafi yawancin jam’iyyun adaw a nahiyarmu ta afrika sukan manta da hakkokin da ya rataya a kansu da zaran sun shiga cikin gwamnatin dake mulki. Wanda hakan baya hiafar masu dad a mai ido illa zubar masu da kima, mutunci da daraja a idon talakawansu. Alal hakika akwai ka’idoji da dama dasu ‘yan adawa ya kamata su kiyaye dasu kamar;
1) tsayawa a kan matsayin su na ‘yan adawa don ganin gwamnati tayi aikin raya kasa daba talakawa hakkokinsu.
2) Gabatar da akidojinsu ko manufofinsu ga gwamnati domin ta aiwatar dasu don asami kyakkyawar mulkin dimokradiyya.
3) Yin suka mai ma’ana a duk lokacin da gwamnati tayi ba daidai ba, da kuma yaba mata yayin da tayi aikin cigaban talakawanta.
4) Ba gwamnati shawar wari masu ma’ana na yadda za’a samu ci gaba ba yadda su ‘yan adawan zasu ci gaba ba.
5) Su guji saurin bayyana kwadayinsu ga gwamnati don samun mukaman siyasa.
Tabbas, idan ‘yan adawa suka kiyaye da wadannan ka’idoji, to lashakka darajarsu, kima da kuma mutuncinsu zai daukaka ga ita knta gwamnati da kuma talakawar da suke wakilta.
Wani abin ban haushi shine, kowace jam’iyya nada nata kundin tsarin zabe, amma da zarar zaben ya wuce sai ayi watsi da wannan kundin a kuma mai dashi tabarmar takawa, wanda haka bai daceba kuma ya saba ma tsarin mulki.

MUTUWAR AURE: LAIFIN MAZA KO MATA?
Masu karatu assalamu alaikum, gaisuwa da fatan kuna cikin koshin lafiya. Yau kuma gamu tafe acikin wanna fili mai tarin albarka, inda za muyi maganan akan yawan mutuwar aure.
Kamar dai yadda akasani ne, aure zamane na zamantakewa, tarayya kana kuma a iya cewa zamane na hakuri tsakanin ma’aurata. Akwai matsaloli da dama da kan taso a tsakanin su ma’auratan a cikin harkokinsu na yau da kullum, wanda a wasu lokuta idan ba ankai hankali nesaba ko kuma anyi hakuri da junaba, sai kaga saki (wato rabuwa) ne sakamakon da zai biyo baya.
To wai me yakesa su mazajen daukan irin wannan mataki nayin saki da gaggawa duk dacewa ya halatta a addinance? Kuma shin laifin wanene a tsakanin su mazan da matan?
Akandai bar ginine tun ranar zane, domin kuwa wasu mazajen suke bata lamarin tun lokacin da suke neman yarinyar da aure. Wadansun su idan sunje zance, maimakon su gayawa yarinyar gaskiya game dasu, a’a saidai su dauki duk karyan duniya su gaya masu, suce iyayensu ne wane da wane, yana da gidaje kaza, motoci kaza, dadai sauransu, itakuma dama yarinyar idan mai halin shazumamine sai tace ai inbashi ba sai rijiya. kan batun yan nijeriya mu rungumi kaddara
Dangane da sharhohin da na rika yi a harkan siyasar dake gudana a kasannan, na rika samun sakonnin text ta waya na dangane da sharhohin, wanda kuma wannan jaridar ta aminiya mai farin jini ta rika buga sharhohin nawa. Jama’a da dama sun bayya na ra’ayoyin su dangane da rubutun nawa daban daban wadanda aka rigaya aka buga.
Saidai kuma ra’ayoyin nasu yasha banban, inda mafi yawancin su suke adawa da sharhohin nawa musamman ma mai taken ‘YAN NIJERIYA MU RUNGUMI KADDARA’. Ala hakika mutane da dama sunyi suka akan wannan ra’ayi nawa inda wadansu ke danganani dad an amshin shata, wasu ma sunce wai hala an bani kudine bayan an buga wata sharhi da nayi mai taken ‘RASHIN HADIN KAN YAN ADAWA YA JAWO ARINGIZON KURI’U’ shi yasa nazo nayi na ‘yan nijeriya mu rungumi kaddara, da dai sauran korafe korafe da dama. Bayan kwashe shekaru sojoji na mulkin nijeriya, sai jamhoriya ta uku ta samu kamar dai yadda mafi yawancin masana siyasar kasan sukayi ittifaki, saidai kuma hakan bata kaiga cimma ruwaba, saboda soke zaben june 12, 1993 na shugaban kasa da gwamnatin janar babangida tayi, wai saboda bata amince da sahihancin yadda aka gudanar da zabenba. Amma duk da korafin da aka dungayi, ranar 23 gawatan april,2007 hukumar zaben Nigeria ta bayyana dan takaranta na PDP dacewa shine ya lashe zaben da sama da kuri’u miliyan 24.To saidai fa in aga nabarawo aga na mabi da sahu, domin kuwa da ace ‘yan adawa sun hada kansu sun tsayar dadan takara daya tilo da dukkan wannan aringizon kuri’u da akayi da baifaruba.. To yanzu dai tafaru ta kare, wai anyiwa mai dami daya sata koma wani irin mataki su ‘yan adawa zasu dauka wanda kuma dama ‘yancin sune su dauki matakin za’a iya cewa sun makara domin tun farko sunki su hada kansu.

WHY DO NIGERIAN STUDENTS MIND NOT TO STUDY AGRIC. ENGINEERING
WHY DO NIGERIAN STUDENTS MIND NOT TO STUDY AGRICULTURAL ENGINERING?

One of the questions that agitate the minds of a typical Nigerian Agricultural Engineering student studying in Nigerian tertiary institution is “where do I work upon graduating”. This question has become necessary because as a student, he sees students of other engineering disciplines such as civil, Electrical, and mechanical being awarded scholarships by companies and international organizations without seeing even a single advertisement inviting Agricultural Engineering students scholarship interviews. Beyond the four walls of his campus, he cannot pin-point a single agricultural Engineer who is in the corridor of power in the country, consortium and consultants handling Agriculture and Agricultural Engineering projects are composed of professionals not including even a single Agricultural Engineer.
The student has enough evidence to be worried and begin to wonder if he has not chosen a wrong course. For this reason, student intake into the programme in tertiary institutions has been very low compared to other Engineering disciplines and even those who get admitted into the programme use the slightest opportunity to change to other disciplines. While acknowledging the concern of the student, the point must be made that what is happening in Nigeria with respect to the profession is a misnormal. In developed and even developing countries where things are correctly done and there is respect for professionalism, Agricultural Engineers are charged with the responsibility of Executing Agricultural Engineering projects. Agricultural Engineering for now is just a victim of the prevailing political and economic circumstances in Nigeria whereby square pegs are put in round holes. This situation will not last forever and sometime Agricultural Engineering in Nigeria will be given its rightful place.
I would now like to briefly discuss some aspect of Agricultural Engineering profession so that my colleagues will stop looking at the profession at a different perspective view.

(4) Requirements of Agricultural Engineer.
1. DEFINITIONS AND HISTORICAL DEVELOPMENT OF
AGRICULTURAL ENGINEERING
Before we attempt to define the Agricultural Engineering profession, it is important that we understand the two key words “Agriculture’ and ‘Engineering’. Agriculture is the practice of producing crops and rearing of livestock including fishes, their processing to varied degrees and products; and marketing of the end products. Because of the role it plays in the existence of man, agriculture is the world’s oldest and perhaps the largest industry. Whereas Engineering is defined as the practice of employing the materials and forces of Nature for the benefit of man and organizing and directing human activities in their uses. The man who co-ordinate these activities is called an Engineer.
Therefore, as a future Agricultural Engineer, I think Agricultural Engineering could be defined as the application of any or all branches of engineering knowledge to the extent that such knowledge may be used in farming in all its ramification and in rural living. There is no doubt that Agricultural Engineering is a profession in itself but it is so wide that in the course of solving the Engineering problems on the farm, it utilizes the knowledge of many other Engineering professions Especially mechanical, civil, Electrical and structural Engineering. In a nutshell, Agricultural Engineering can rightly be described as a “jack of all Engineering profession and master of all”. This Explains why the Agricultural Engineering curriculum is so broad and contains subjects from both other Engineering and non Engineering disciplines.
The Historical development of Agricultural Engineering as a distinct discipline started in the United State of America and dates back to the late nineteenth century. Prior to this tune, Engineering problems on the farm were solved by applying knowledge from fields of architecture, mechanical and civil Engineering. Some people of the time began showing an interest in the profession and one of such early advocates for Agricultural Engineering being a distinct profession was Dr. Elwood Mead an Agricultural/civil Engineer. With this development, the Agricultural Engineering as a distinct profession came to be Department of Agricultural Engineering with the primary aim of training Agricultural Engineers were established in some universities, Lowa State University in U.S.A is reported to be the first university to award a first degree of Bachelor of science in agricultural Engineering and that was in 1910.
(2) AGRICULTURAL ENGINEERING IN NIGERIA
In 1963, a Department of Agricultural Engineering was established at the university of Nigeria, Nsukka and in 1967, the Department awarded the Bachelor of science (BSc) degree in Agricultural Engineering to two graduates; Messrs U.P.C Okudo and E. Nwalo. Other universities took their turns in the establishment of Agricultural Engineering Departments. By the year 2000 in Nigeria, there are a number of polytechnics and colleges of Agriculture offering training in Agricultural Engineering up to the levels of OND, HND while a number of Nigerian universities offer training leading to the award of B.Sc, B Eng M.Sc and Ph.D in Agric Engineering.
(3) OBJECTIVES OF AGRICULTURAL ENGINEERING
The overall objectives of agricultural Engineering is to provide a conducive working Environment for the former and assure him that there is dignity in farming, improve his economic situation and make food available in adequate quantity, quality, at the right time of need and at a reasonable cost to the consumers. As a future agricultural Engineer as well as the courses I have done so far, I think the following should be the objectives of Agricultural Engineering.
- Reduction of farming Hazards
- Reduction of Drudgery in Agricultural Operations
- Ensuring availability of Agricultural products All-year Round
- Enhancement of the quality of life for the farmer
4. REQUIREMENTS OF AGRICULTURAL ENGINEER
Despite the fact that I have not fulfilled my course, but I am very sure that making a good Agricultural Engineer and contributing positively to the development of the profession depends on a number of factors which includes:
- Interest in Rural Environment
- Academic Inclination
- Good Human Relation
