CONFERMENT OF SARDAUNAN KANO ON GOV. SHEKARAU

The conferment of sardaunan kano on Mallam (Dr) Ibrahim Shekarau the executive governor of kano state by Emir of kano Alhaji (Dr) Ado Bayero is a plus to the political profile of Mallam Shekarau. However, the conferment of this tittle to Shekarau generates a lot of comments within and outside the state. While some are saying it’s indeed a plus to his Excellency’s political carrier and are rejoicing with him, others are seeing it in the other way round.

Definitely, whatever it is, the Emir of kano make a wiser decision by chosen Mallam Ibrahim Shekarau as sardaunan kano and at the right time, especially taking into consideration the way Mallam Shekarau is continuously transforming and developing the state and its people in different forms.

Foristance, Tamburawa water dam constructed/built by Mallam Shekarau is second to none in Africa, has bring an end to the scarcity of water suffered by the good people of kano state for several years, employment opportunity to youths, helping the physically challenged ones, the less privileges and expansion of the major roads in the city which is currently going on so as to reduce the rate of congestion in the city and also to enhance the commercial activities of the state-also in the past two months, people of kano state experienced or start experiencing uninterrupted power supply. All these are development recorded under Shekarau’s administration.

Dedicating himself tirelessly to the service of humanity and giving everyone his due right irrespective of religious, political or tribal differences, sacrifice, God-fearing, selfless service and many other things are what earned Mallam Ibrahim Shekarau the tittle of sardaunan kano. Because even some states in this country testified the kind of transformation that kano state has recorded and are still achieving under the administration of Mallam Shekarau, and as such he was awarded with the traditional tittle of Onwa Na-Etiri oha1 na Ehaalumono from southern part of this country. This shows that his commitment (Mallam Shekarau) to serve the good people of kano state and indeed Nigeria as a whole is appreciated. Truly, the executive governor of kano state, Imam of societal reorientation, deserves to be called magajin sardaunan Sokoto because his commitment to the service of humanity and development of his people is similar to that of late sardaunan Sokoto Alhaji Sir Ahmadu Bello.

It is well known to everyone that since after it’s creation, kano state did not witness rapid transformation and development like in the seven years ago under the excellent innovative leadership of Mallam Ibrahin Shekarau- This is a blessed development and opportunity that people of kano state should be proud of and thanks the almighty God for blessing them with a governor that pay attention to nothing but development and upliftment of his people. Therefore, his Excellency Mallam (Dr) Ibrahim Shekarau, Imam of societal reorientation, garkuwan Ilimi, sardaunan kano, Onwa Na-Etiri oha1 na Ehaalumono, magajin sardaunan Sokoto needs nothing from people of kano state than prayers for God to grant him his wishes and give him the opportunity to deliver the mandate given to him successfully by people of kano state. We pray that Almighty Allah in His own will and power will one day give Governor Shekarau an opportunity to serve the country at large insha Allah.
Lastly, I am concluding this paper with a prayer, seeking refuge from the Almighty from all evils and harmful acts. May he also be our guardian in all our endeavours, ameen.

THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN U.S.A AND THE REST
OF THE WORLD
The accusation by the American Government on Faruq Umar Abdul-Mutallab, who happen to be a Nigerian, for attempting to bombard a plane in America on the 25th Day of December, 2009, remain the subject of discussion throughout the world, especially the way and manner adopted by both the local and international mass-media in disseminating it, almost everyday.
Similarly, it is of common knowledge and undisputed fact that America is second to none when it comes to the issue of concoction and dissemination of propaganda. Almost always, their (America) mission is to create tension and emotional disorder in the minds of innocent fellow human beings.
Assuming but not conceding that the accusation against Faruq is true, then it is now a time for America to sit and cogitate on why these series of attacks and attempted attacks were aimed at it alone. Because, a wise man says that there can never be a smoke without fire. Obviously, the America and American government should ask theirselve why the attacks were always targeted at America not for instance, Germany, Australia, Denmark, China, Russia, Japan, Togo, or Ghana? Why America is the final bus-stop for everybody with all sorts of grievances, dissatisfactions, and disappointment of life? What kind/sort of relationship exists between America and this kind of people or the world at large? These are few out of many questions that America needs to find out their answers.
However, nothing is new it has been for long time that America and its allies considered us as terrorists. But at this juncture, I am strongly and courageously saying that it is unwise and unjust for America and the western-world to consider the religion of Islam as a religion of terror or the one that support terrorism just because of what Faruq did. This is because some people have already related his alleged act (if time) to the religion of Islam.
I sincerely see no nexus between his alleged act and the religion of Islam which is the religion of peace.
Common sense, good sense, and natural justice can never allow the alleged act to serve as a yardstick for jumping into conclusion that every Muslim is a terrorist.
The worst part of it is how some of the so-called “SENATORS” and “REP-MEMBERS” in America are calling for an immediate transfer of Faruq to their illegal prison in GUANTANOMO. This clearly translates how illiterate they are on what HUMAN RIGHTS are all about. They wittingly ignored the fact that they have a better person to send there but not Faruq. Though, I am not holding a brief for Faruq, but they should know that BUSH W. GEORGE is the rightful person that supposes to be in Guantanomo for the illegal, criminal, and inhuman acts he perpetrated while he was the American president.
He was the brain behind the lost of many innocent lives in Iraq and Afghanistan. To crown it all, the said BUSH is the real causative of all sorts of catastrophic and calamities that are befalling America now a day.
Those law-makers should also be reminded that in almost all the criminal justice in the world, the golden and guiding principle is that AN ACCUSED PERSON IS PRESUMED TO BE INNOCENT UNLESS AND UNTIL HE IS FOUND (PROVED) TO BE GUILTY BY A OCURT OF LAW (and of competent jurisdiction not court of public opinion). Though, his accuser(s) claimed that he confessed or admit the accusation, this is immaterial because we have not yet hear from him.
At this point, the Nigerian government should as a matter of urgency send their officials to America so that they can work in collaboration with a view of doing justice to the issue. This is because up to the time I am writing this paper, I have not seen the Faruq saying a word over the issue in any electronic-media neither hear his voice but always America said this and said that. Until we hear from him or watch his video, we will never agree with the said propaganda.
I have no iota of doubt in my mind that had it been that Faruq is an American the issue would have been forgotten by now. What they will do is nothing more than to declare that the accused person is suffering from mental disorder and nothing more or less. As such, it is mandatory for the Nigerian government as a sovereign country to involve itself in this serious issue to see that the rights of its citizen are not unjustly being infringed and simultaneously to prevent its unrefutable image from the rest of the world.

Dangantakar Amurka da Kasashen Duniya

Tun bayan da mahukuntan kasar Amurka suka zarigi dan Nijeriyan nan mai suna Farouq Umar abdulmutallab da yunkurin tada bom a sararin samaniyar kasar Amurka ranar 25-12-09 hankalin duniya baki daya ya karkata kan wannan, musamman ma ganin yadda kulli yaumin kafafen yada labarai na gida da na waje ke ci gaba da ruruta yadda lamarin ya auku.
Da farko dai kada ayi tuya a manta da albasa, kowa yasan cewa duk duniya babu kasar da ta shahara kuma ta kware wajen kago labaran karya da zasu dauki hankalin duniya tare da tada zukatan al’umma kamar kasar Amurka. Kullum su burinsu shine kawo rashin kwanciyar hankali a duniya da kuma musguna ma wadanda basu jiba basu gani ba. Sa ma ace wannan zargi da ake ma Umar Farouq gaskiya ne, koda yake ana nan ana binciken don gano gaskiyar lamarin, idan har zargin ta tabbata to wannan wani abu ne da ya kamata kasar Amurka ta zauna tayi ma kanta karatun natsuwa gami da tunani tare da tambayar kanta mai yasa irin wadannan aikin ta’addanci ke faruwar a kasar ta kawai? Don me yasa ba aje kasar Germany, Australia, Denmark, China, Russia, Japan, Togo, ko Ghana an kai irin wadannan hare haren ba? Me yasa kowa idan ya dauko fitintununsa baya sauke su ko ina sai Amurka? Wani irin hulda ko dangantaka ke tsakanin wadannan mutane ko duniya baki daya da kasar Amurka? Wadannan kadan ne daga cikin dimbin tambayoyin da ya kamata kasar Amurka taba kanta amsa.
Ko da yake, duk wadannan abubuwan da Amurka da sauran ‘yan kanzaginta keyi ba sabon abu bane domin kuwa sun dade suna mana kallon ‘yan ta’adda. Bai dace Amurka da sauran kasashen masu jajayen kunnuwa su rika kallon addinin musulunci a matsayin addinin ta’addanci ba sakamakon abinda ake zargin Umar Farouq da aikatawa. Don kuwa tuni wadansun su suka rika danganta wannan lamari da koyarwar addinin musulumci. Gaskiya addinin musulunci kowa yasan cewa addini ne na zaman lafiya wanda kuma baya koyar da duk wani aiki na ta’addanci ko makamantan hakan, kuma kada wannan abu ya zama mizani na daukan dukkan musulmai ‘yan ta’adda ko ‘yan Nijeriya arika masu kallon ‘yan ta’adda.
Wani abin ban haushi da takaici shine yadda wasu sanatoci da ‘yan majalisar wakilai na Amurka da basu san hakki da ‘yancin bil’adama ba suke kiran da a gaggauta tura Umar Farouq zuwa sansanin GUANTANAMO don azabtar dashi, domin acewarsu Farouq cikakken dan ta’addane wanda ya kamat ya fuskanci hukunci. Amma abin tambaya a nan shine, shin wadannan masu wanna kira na atura Farouq zuwa GUANTANAMO basu san cewa suke da babban dan ta’adda da ya dace a garzaya dashi zuwa wannan sansanin ba? Idan basu sa niba to ga sunansa, Bush W. George shine cikakke kuma babban dan ta’addan duniya, domin kuwa yayi sanadiyyar salwantan rayuka bila a dadun a kasashen Iragi da Afghanistan. A takaice dai, duk wata irin fitina dake samun Amurka Bush shine ya haifar sakamakon yadda huldar dangantakar Amurka da sauran kasashen duniya yayi tsami cikin tsawon shekaru takwas din da yayi yana mulkin kama karya a kasar, yayi sanadiyyar mutuwan al’umma a ko ina cikin duniya. To wanna ba laifi ne da yakamata a hukunta wanda ya aikata suba? Farouq fa zarginsa akeyi wanda haryanzu ba a tabbatar da cewar ko wannan zargin gaskiya ne ba, duk kuwa dacewan munji wai bayanai daga Amurka na cewa Farouq ya masa laifin da ake zarginsa dashi amman mu haryanzu bamuji daga bakinsa ba. Don haka baza mu gaskanta wanna labarin ba, domin munsan Amurka na iya zama ta shirya kowani irin labarai don jan hankalin al’ummar duniya.
Ya kamata mahukuntan Nijeriya su tura nasu jami’an zuwa kasar Amurka ayi binciken tare dasu don ganin anyi adalci a rahoton da za’a bayar. Kada su zauna su nade hannayensu su jira Amurka ta rubuta mana sakamakon bogi suce shine sakamakon binciken da suka gudanar. Domin har yanzu sai dai muji kafafen yada labarai na fadin cewa bayanai da suka fito daga Amurka sunce Farouq yace abu kaza ko ya fadi abu kaza wanda har yanzu ba’a taba sa mana muryansa munji lokacin da yake furta wadannan kalamai ba ko asa mana hoton bidiyo da aka dauka lokacin da ake yi masa tambayoyi ba, don haka duk abinda za’a fada mana soki burutsu ne kawai, baza mu taba yarda ba sai munji daga bakinsa. Wallahi yau da dan Amurka ake zargi ya aikata wannan ta’adi da yanzu an manta da maganan. Don Amurka ba zata taba yarda ayi binciken da zai sa a Gano tare da ladabtar da dan kasarta akan irin wadannan laifuffuka ba. Zatayi duk mai yiwuwa wajen ganin maganan ya mutu ko ta halin kaka. In kuma ya zama dole sai an gudanar da binciken, to zuwa zatayi ayi binciken tare da ita, wanda kuma kowa yasan cewa ba binciken za’a yiba, sune zasu zauna su tsara mana abinda za’a fadawa duniya wanda bai wuce daga karshe ace mana wanda ake zargin yana da tabin hankali ba. Don haka ya zama dole gwamnatin Nijeriya ta shiga cikin lamarin nan don kare hakkin yaron nan da kuma kare mutuncin ta a idon duniya don ganin ba’ayi amfani da wannan dama ba wajen musgunama ‘yan Nijeriya dake kasashen waje ko masu muradin fita nan gaba.
Allah ya kara tsaremu, karemu, kiyayemu tare da yi mana garkuwa ga dukkan abubuwan da muke gudunsu, shakkunsu ko tsoronsu a zahiri da badili, tare kuma da rokon Allah ya kara shigemana gaba da yimana jagoranci a dukkan ayyukanmu nayau da kullum, amin.
